About FertilityJourney
Finding out that having a child might be hard is one of the loneliest moments a person can face. The information out there is a maze — sales pitches dressed as advice, forums full of guesses, numbers with no source. FertilityJourney exists to be the opposite of that: an independent guide through infertility, with real options, realistic timelines, true costs, and the plain fact that you are not the only one carrying this.
What we do
We help you understand where you are and what usually comes next. Not what you should do — that belongs to you and a doctor who knows your history — but what the paths actually look like: what a test tells you, what a treatment costs, how long things really take, and what questions are worth asking before you spend a dollar or a month.
What we will always be
- Independent. Providers never pay to appear here, and nothing we publish is an advertisement. How we're funded, and the money we turn down, is spelled out on our Trust & Transparency page.
- Sourced. Every medical figure we publish is cited to peer-reviewed research and national registry data — SART, CDC, ASRM, WHO — with the source and the date we last checked it shown on the page. We chose tested evidence over any one person's opinion. When a credentialed clinician has reviewed a page, we say so by name, and only then.
- Realistic. We publish honest timelines and true cost ranges, not best-case stories. Hope that isn't grounded in the real numbers isn't kind — it's just another way to waste someone's time and money.
- Outcome-neutral. Whether your path leads to treatment, a pause, another route to family, or a different life than you planned, we have no stake in your choice. We only want it to be an informed one.
Who we are
FertilityJourney is operated by Fertility Journey LLC, a Virginia company. We plan to become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — we'll say so here when that status is in place, and we don't accept donations until it is.
We are an educational resource. We are not a medical provider, we do not give medical advice, and we cannot diagnose anything. What we can do is make the road ahead a little less bewildering, and a lot less lonely.
